About Us

Welcome all that have found their way to my page!

I want to thank you for taking the time to look over what is here, and how I may be able to possibly support you in some of your life challenges. I have been through quite a bit in my life, as I would believe most have. I have decided to use these experiences, challenges, and triumphs to help others. My goal is to eradicate the shame and guilt around substance use that lives deep inside those suffering. I want to help encourage individuals on their recovery journey, to help support parents in connection with their children using conscious and gentle parenting, as well as support those wading through the waters of grief and experiencing a lull in their desire or knowledge on how to move forward in life. I am currently a Licensed Substance Abuse Technician as well as a Certified Transformational Life and Recovery Coach. I am also working towards becoming a Licensed Substance Abuse Counselor and I am constantly studying and working towards more certifications.

When I had my first child in 2018 everything changed for me as it does for so many. All my priorities shifted, and I knew that I wanted to help support others in there recovery journey, as well as work with all ages around grief, loss, and conscious parenting. Jesus has guided me on my journey and kept me safe and now I know I must let him work through me to provide a true change and shift for those who are ready for support. My family is my world, and I want to reach out and make our world brighter by encouraging souls to embrace their humanity by learning to honor their Divinity. We are all divinely created and loved beyond measure, and I want to share that with each of you!

How our name came to be :

It was with much thought I came up with our name "Nesta of Hope."

Since I was an early teen, Bob Marley and his music felt very important to me. I just clicked with the music and his nature from the first time I was introduced. As I was creating my business, I prayed about a name. A few mornings later, I woke up thinking "look up Bob Marley's middle name." And wouldn't you know it, it is Nesta which means "messenger" in Jamaican. I felt Messenger of Hope embodied what I am passionate about. HOPE is what we all need daily, HOPE is what sees us through, and HOPE is promised to us if we choose to embrace it. I'm here as a Messenger of Hope and my calling is to share that with everyone I can.

Substance Use & Addiction

Having walked the path of addiction myself, I understand the heavy pit of self loathing and shame we can often cycle through. Addiction is exhausting. However if you're not sure your use can be categorized as such, I'm here to help you figure out what the next step can be. You don't have to continue to be sick and tired more often than not, and I have an abundance of grace and practical insights to share with you to help get you to the other side of sick and it's beautiful on the other side!

Parenting & Pregnancy

Since having my first child in 2018, I have entered in to the fulfilling and challenging world of conscious & gentle parenting. I want to help you connect with your child vs. using punishment to gain compliance. I know how hard it can be but I am here and happy to work with you and even your child! I've worked as a nanny for over 15 years and have many years of success in the realm of conscious parenting and would love to support you in any way possible.

I am also familiar with the ins and outs of pregnancy (for Mom & Dad!) the happiness yes, but also the fear and uncertainty around what the near and distant future will look like, how Mom and the family may change and if the pregnancy is actually what is truly wanted? I have had to make some difficult decisions in my life and would love to share my story of hope and grace with you.

Grief & Loss

I have lost some of the most important people in my life, and while no one experiences grief the same way, I would like to walk with you through yours and offer my comfort, prayers and guided imagery to work towards peace and processing. Grief can be lived with in a harmonious way when we shift the way we view the world and the gift of life even ever so slightly.
